I have a Sony NX using LauncherX, and as silly as it seems, I can't figure out how to make a shortcut. Can some kind individual out there help me.

Thank you in advance. Your help is most appreciated!

I haven't tried it with my NX70V yet, but on my N610C it went like this:

1. Put the program on the memory stick (MS) by dragging it to the MS icon and selecting "Move to MS".

2. Create the shortcut by dragging the new icon to the MS icon and selecting "Create shortcut".

It appears I was trying harder than I had to. All I had to do was move it over to the memory stick, then move it on the card tools...it then gives you the option to create the shortcut. Thanks for the assistance.

Here we go... First of all make sure you have in yer gadget bar the "Card Tools" icon (w/ the standard skin is a little memstick icon), if not just go to Menu/Options/LauncherX Prefs/Gadgets and place that gadget (the leftmost in the second row) in any position. Then go back to the LX main screen and simply drag any app. icon over the "Card Tools" button: a little menu will appear, and its last option is "Create Shortcut". Select it and LX will create a shortcut for that app. Of course the original app. must be placed in the memstick (if so, it'll have a little MS icon near its caption); if you wanna create shortcuts for some apps that are NOT in the /palm/launcher directory simply go to Menu/Options/LauncherX Prefs, tap on "Memory Card" (in the very bottom of the prefs screen) and add to the list the path whre the apps are placed. Go back to the main screen, hit the "Refresh" button (in the standard skin the blue round button on the top, between clock and memory indicator) and the apps placed in the path you specified will appear in the first tab. Hope it was enough!!! :D
All the best
