I just got mine for $399 at my local Fry's Electronics. I know it's not $300 like you expected. but hey $399 is a great deal compared to $599 when it was hot off the shelf.

CompUSA has them for $399. But call before going to a store; they may have sold out their allotment.

Stay away from Cuircuit City. Their web site was selling one NX70V for $499!

Remember that many places do pricematching. You can order one from Staples.com for $499 then add a $30 coupon (they are ALL over the net). Call back RIGHT AFTER you order and do a 110% PM to CompUSA's $399. Final price is $499 - $30 - $110 or $359. I get them to PM before the coupon 99% of the time. Also, you can still get the deal at Overstock. To get the 10% off you need a Discover card and start here:

http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?PAGE=STATICPAGE&PAGE_ID=518&cid=25333&fp=f

Final price is $335 shipped....
