Are there any options other than the mp3 player the NX70 came with?

What do you mean with any options, did you mean any other MP3 applications? I think Audio Player works like a charm. There are some other MP3 apps out there, but why waste more ram to store them when you have a good one.

The reason is that I want to have more flexibility with my playlists. I want to be able to select some songs off the the memorystick and shuffle them without haveing to delete the others. also something with visualizations and/or an equalizer would be pretty cool

have you found any other mp3 player which works with the nx70?
I also would like to have visualizations or being able to chose mp3 albums

The answer is no, not for the NX's, sorry!

Sony hasn't yet released the APIs for this to be possible... so there's no other audio player for the NX.

Why is it that on the Sonystyle site, the NX was shown as playing an MP3 with an equalizer doodad or some kind of visualization thingy? Looked kind of like winamp...

NR models had some visualization options, but not in NX :(
