nx73v or nx70v?

i know there have been many threads about this, but i want to get it straight:

which should i buy, an NX73V or an NX70V??

currently, the lowest i can get a 73 and a 70 for is $424 and $383, respectively. is the price of the 73 going to go down?? how long will it take?? is it worth the wait??

i just bought a lexar 256 mb memory stick select for $30, so i know i'm getting a clie.

any thoughts here are appreciated!

If it were me, I would get the NX70 or the NX80. Those two we know have almost 16MB of usable memory between RAM and Flash. The NX73 is unknown at this time, but I suspect you'll be limited to 11MB of RAM. The new chip Sony is using allows them to lock it from access.

If you are willing to wheel and deal you can get an NX70 for under $300. $383 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much. Search the forum you can get one now from overstock for $335 shipped....

if you doesn't plan to resell it then NX70 is not bad at the price .. at overstock.com of course ..

if you plan to resell it in the near future (6 months) then NX73 is way better choice .. you can resell the unit to noob at ebay LOL .. oh .. at the price you got now too .. laugh lounder ..

i posted the same thread a couple a days ago, and i hear 50% of posters go for 73, and the other half say 70. imho, if you want price/performance, get the 70. if you care about fashion and style, go for the 73. remember, you are paying more just for the black casing look. ;)

if you're in Europe - get the NX73.... the addition of Bluetooth is worth it.

I had the same hard decision between NX70 or NX73.
But finally ordered NX73 with the Dell's promotion, total of $404 with free shipping and no taxes charges.
:D very happy.

i think i'm sure i want a 73. im going into high school this year so i want my handheld to look the least bit cool. (actually i wont be bringing something that expensive to class that much) plus it has a few things that make it better: mainly the lighted keyboard and compactflash slot.
but the price? any guesses on when retailers will bring it down and how much?
can anyone beat $424 right now? thanks.

People, don't assume that you can get the extra 4.8MB (USA model) by using JackFlash. It works fine on the NX70, but so far not on the NX73. The NX73 has the new lockable all in one chip now. The same thing is happening on the the later TG-50's too.

For some like me, the extra 4.8MB is a godsend!
