Confused about SKINS in the NX...

O.K., I just got the darn thing today and... I am trying to figure out what WILL work and what will NOT as a skin for the virtual graffiti area and the status bar. Since I don't use a custom launcher like YiShow or ZLauncher, I just need the basics. I have downloaded 'photo skin' but here is where the confusion REALLY begins... :confused:

Can I use silkskins on the NX as I did on the NR?

Will the Page down hack work?

Which skins will work in OS 5 and which will not?

Do I only need PhotoSkin or should I download something else?

Getting Photoskin is a good start and the rest hopefully won't be too confusing.

For the Virtual Graffiti skins, you can use any of the one's made for the NR's or the NX's. Photoskin can handle both.

For the status bars it's different. You will have to look for one's that are made especially for the NX. They will usually say if they are. They are also noticeable in that the arrow to drop down the Graffiti area is to the right of the clock on the NX skins.

As for PageDown hack, I believe there is an OS5 version on the way, but I'm pretty sure it's not out yet. You can try Okey (if you do a search at PalmGear.com you will find it). It's free and will add the PgUp/PgDown buttons to your status bar as well as some hidden buttons on the status bar for your hard buttons. There are also some NX status bar skins in the downloads section that are made especially for use with Okey.
