hi again. need some info. seems the nr70v has some strange screws to open it. there are star shaped and very small. is there a tech out there that knows were to get a screw driver or a jewlers driver size that can fit this. I DON"T want to stripe these babys and really mess things up. Something is rattleing inside the unit. but works fine. but could be someing metal in there and could short it out. so I want to see whats up.
thanks:eek:

You just need a very small Philips screwdriver. Any decent hardware store will have one.

I thought I would need the sony patented iso-posi-matrix-quad-quantum-retro-coupling-multi-head-trans-driver.
but i guess a Philips will have to do:confused:

Of course! And how much will that little bugger run you? Does it do dishes?
My NR70V has regular tiny phillips screws, which is great. I hope they still do that, I would hate it if they used unconventional sizes like Palm. Besides, if they're going to sell me a piece of hardware that requires monthly interior maintenance to keep the hinge working, the least they can do is make it easy ;) .
