hi all,

i bought my nz90 yesterday (without buying a memory stick, yep, dumb eh) and now, i can't seem to find anyway to copy my mp3s into the nz90

the only software that i can find is the memory stick import/export which allows me to write directly to the memory stick. is there anyway that i can copy files straight into my memory stick's memory or copy files out of my memory stick's memory into my computer?

YES YOU CAN, but I don't think that Audioplayer will play the Mp3's.

You must have a memory stick to play mp3s.......

ohh is that what u want?

HOTSYNC does that for you.

Just go ahead and check your back-up directory
Default is:

C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\(your username)\Backup

Joe, I don't think it is possible. The only "converting" program I know of is MS import/export, and you need an MS for it.

You know that you can find a 128 MS for less than $40 after rebates?

Am I missing something here? I thought you had to have a MS to play MP3s?

By PDF, you are referring to adobe acrobat type files, right? I think the acrobat website has a Palm specific PDF converter and a reader for the Palm. I don't know if it is OS 5 compatible. I didn't really like it when I used it on my OS4 PDA, so I haven't tried it again.

I actually use Midas extractor, convert all my PDF's to Word format, then convert to PDB so I can edit with Wordsmith on the Palm. It's not as slow a process as it sounds!

The only two files extensions allowed in RAM by the Palm OS5 is .prc and .pdb. Sony was able to play tricks for the camera to take pictures in a special .pdb format.
