Has anybody tried Memory Stick Select from Lexar with TG50? It is 256Mb memory stick.

I have Sony brand memory stick select 256MB with my TG50. I have no problem with it. It works like it suppose to. I would prefer to have 256MB memory stick pro instead since the price are almost the same.
My Lexar 256MB Select died in my TG50 after 2 days (can't even reformat it on the Clie, or on my PC's USB card reader). I've replaced it with a 256 Sony Memory Stick Pro ($99 at ecost.com) which works great and is much more convenient to use.

Had it for a week. Been using it heavily with no problems.

Using the Lexar 256 select for a couple weeks. It's okay, except it doesn't support Sony's lame magic gate.. so you won't be able to use ATRAC3 (if that's important to you)

ATRAC3 is a pain in the ***. i don't see why anyone would rather fiddle around with ATRAC3 when they could just use MP3s...

What? You mean that some people don't want to pay extra for an inferior proprietary audio format on a proprietary flash form factor?
i have the sony brand 256 select on my nz90, and it works fine. the advantage for me was that i don't need continuous feed 256 pro for now, and my existing 6in1 reader and digital camera can use it as well.
