View Full Version : is there ne way i could have bluetooth on nx73v...

just wanted to know if there is some way i could have bluetooth even though its not built in the nx73.Is there some kind of external device i could buy, please help me out.also i heard about the bluetooth memory stick where it accesses ur memory stick for bluetooth but i also heard it doesnt work for nx73.

For the NX73 it will work with the bluetooth Memory Stick.
According to Sony Japan's official site, you only need an update patch inorder to use it. but it will work.
It might just stick out of the side of your NX73 though, this might be something you'd like to consider. :)

this should definetly work. Just one thing do u have a link on where i could by it. Thanks for the info as long as i have some type of bluetooth it will work.

Can we have double bluetooth with the Eueropean version AND the BT MS? =) I wonder if it could talk to itself...

The other option is find a way to get the European model with BT built in. I'm interested in the NX80 so it doesn't help me, but since you want the 73, you do have the opportunity to get internal BT, if you can get it shipped to you.

grr why does the NX73 UK edition has BT builtin but not other versions?? (Asian version, US version)

Consider that expansys will probably ship the european nx73v also!

If you get the bt-ms you will have to download the os 5 drivers for it (for ex. at the uk-sony-support-site) because the bt-ms was build back in the os 4 age.

I am also from HK. I see the listed price is £449 I wonder if non-UK buyers can reclaim the VAT (£65) , as the original price excluding VAT is £384.

By the way I have just seen on Sony France stating that the European version will begin to ship from 7th July.

Wow, if we are free from the VAT, then 384 pounds is a real bargain for such hi-end features!

The other option is buying from a UK E-Bay seller who's willing to ship to the US. There's quite a few on E-Bay at the moment, brand new still in the box, from sellers with a good reputation. I just paid £280 for mine, but have now seen some for as low as £199.00

Go to blackhalo.com, they did a review of the bluetooth memorystick.
I have an nx70 U.S. and purchased the stick from blueunplugged.com, with the drivers downloaded
from blackhalo it worked great.

Is there a good reason why Sony did not sell NXs with built-in Bluetooth in the US?

It seems to me that nobody is trying real hard to introduce bluetooth over here.
