View Full Version : NX60 Screen pops when turned on...

Hi everyone -

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I tried doing a search but couldn't come up with anything.

I've noticed that sometimes when I turn my NX60, the screen makes a fairly audible "pop" noise (maybe it's the backlight coming on?) It only seems to happen when the NX60 has been turned off for a while. If it's already on and I cycle it on/off with the power switch, I can't hear anything.

Just wondering if I should be concerned about this...?

Thanks!

LL

I get that with my NX70, it's a little unsettling at first, but in 8 months it has not caused a problem.

Ok, that's good to hear. Thanks for the quick reply.

Now back to trying to make my WL100 work nicely with my Airport base station...

I have heard of the speaker making a clicking noise when you power on (common to all NX's?) but never the screen. Sounds ominous.

That might be what it is - I honestly have no idea. Maybe because it coincides with the screen flashing on, I thought it was the backlight. But it makes much more sense that it would be the speaker.

In any case, it's good to know that others have experienced the same thing...

Who cares where exactly it's coming from, I know the noise he is talking about. It doesn't do it all the time, only when you least expect it :)
