Can someone out there relate to my situation? I have a Win95 machine - I know it in the dark ages, but I'm a Mac person - and I cant get the Clie cradle to operate via USB. Tried installing some USB drivers to no avail. But then again, I'm lost when it comes to PC operating systems.
I just want to be able to use the PC programs - Documents to Go etc.

Thanks

Well, it depends on which version of WIN95 you have... there was an OSR2 release which included USB (minimal at best) support, but not many of those copies came out. By then, Win 98 was out, and everybody was happy with that. Until it had a second release. and so on. and so on...

You can always pick up a serial hotsync cable at Best Buy or Comp-USA, they go for about $20.

Good luck:D

I think Win98 Second Edition, Introduced USB for the first time not Win 95. You can use the Missing Sync or something like that and sync with mac.

No, I'm pretty sure OSR2 for win 95 had it... I have the disc in my hand (-;

Try upgrading to Win98 second edition or greater to have USB support.

Your right, but if I'm not mistaken, didn't it support USB 1.0 while Win98 added USB 1.1 support. USB 1.0 basicly sucked and I don't think hardly anything supports it anymore.

Sony says the minimum requirement is Windows 98 SE.
