Help with "Columns" on NX-70 please

I downloaded the "Columns for CLIE Update, Version 1.101" from the Sony site.

The install instructions say you must have Columns v1.020 installed before installing the update.

I don't have any version of Columns on my NX-70 and, finding no source for it on Sony's site, contacted Sony Tech Support to get it. They advised that it is on the Installation CD in the Add-Ons section.

I have ver 1.0 of the Sony Installation CD and there is no version of Columns in the Add-ons section (or elsewhere that I could see). I've emailed Sony Tech Support for futher info but thought someone here very likely has the answer at their fingertips.

Help would be appreciated.

I thought Columns was included only with the game controller from Sony, maybe it's available only from this source...

They meant the installation CD with the game controller.
The game is not on the standard Sony Clie CD.
It is meant to be used with the controller, in fact that is the only way the game works. It won't respond to hardkeys or the stylus, even on the main menu and there is no standard palm menu only an in game menu that can only be navigated with the controller.

Ahh. I had no idea it was related to the game controller and the documentation makes no mention of that fact.

The documentation just says "This driver will update the Columns for CLIE software and do the following:

- Updates icon appearance in the CLIE Launcher application screen;

- enhances Palm OS5 software compatability."

Those both seemed like worthwhile reasons to apply the update. Didn't realize it only related to gaming.
