HELP! weird netfront problem

I have a weird problem that I hope someone can help me fix.

I deleted netfront from my CLIE (the new one that was provided by a few links on this forum) because I kept getting fatal reset errors on my NX70V whenever I tried to run it (first weird problem). I then tried to reinstall the version that came with my CD. For some odd reason, Netfront now refuses to show up as an application. I can see it from the delete list and I can see it with CLIE files, but it does not show up in any of the application lists. I tried installing other apps and they show up fine. I then tried to reinstall the new version that was crashing my system before and it now refuses to show up in the app list.

Any ideas? :confused:

Had the same problem.
In order for the netfront to install correctly, you need to have about 6 mb of ram free. Even though the program only takes 2 mb in the end, it needs 6 to install itself.

Thanks Jason for the info on clearing up more memory! I now have netfront reinstalled (I actually had to clear up a bit more than 6MB of internal memory).

I do remember, after reading the note, that there were posts about this awhile back - I did do a search on netfront issues but apparently didn't go back enough threads.

so now I'm just back to my original fatal error problems... I've now set the netfront option to disconnect on termination and it seems to be happier with that.
