Just wondering if anyone has come across a way to get around the need for a memory stick in order to throw files in and out of your clie.
It seems the infared device should have some functionality for this purpose, correct?
I've been looking for methods for a few weeks now and still nothing.
Any thoughts?

you need the MS as the internal memory will only hold palm format database and data files..............
......... no way around it my friend.. you will need to get yourself a stick!!

Don't worry I have one ;)
It just seems like there should be a way around it. Sony may be smart, but there is always a work-around lurking somewhere on the web!
Well, you can throw in prc files from your PC to CLIE via IR, but not the other way around. That as far as I know, or you just use the IR to beam applications with another CLIE.
But to throw out of the CLIE, you can choose delete. :)
But you seem to have some insights on how to throw out files from the clie to PC, care to share?

I've just been using FileZ and the ZLauncher file tool to delete files and such.
I'm trying to transfer data between my G4 tiBook's infrared and my nr70v.

It's not a Sony thing, but a Palm OS thing :)
