Hi,
I had lost my memopad conduit, so I reinstalled Clie 4.1 desktop, with no luck. Tried the hotsync.exe -r trick, and finally between repeated attempts of both, finally re-established the memopad conduit and was able to get the info onto my NX with a hotsync.
But then, went to open my desktop app, and it says no user available! It gives me the 'select a user' box, but there is nothing there. I try entering my user name as new, or even trying to create a new user name and it says they are all illegal names. The .dat and da$$ files all have my info in them when I look at them ion the sony handheld directory. Any suggestions?
