First of all thank you everyone for all the previous posts - my time spent searching the archives/threads has led me to some much needed help thus far.

Got my SJ-30 over the holidays - will be using it a great deal more after moving to start a new job in a few weeks. I wanted to take this time to get my PDA going.

I installed Eudora on my PDA to use for e-mail today. Until recently I had been using the Mail feature that came with the Clie (I think it is just a tad simple and plain). Mail was in synch with Outlook Express and my sympatico account (like aol) and hotmail account. I now have Eudora getting messages for my sympatico account - can I have it get my hotmail stuff? Can I stop Mail from being my default and have Eudora be the main e-mail program?

I am using AvantGo and love it - I feel much more well read and up to date.

Can anyone suggest any other practical programs for everyday use. I will be building up a substancial address book over time and will use the calender a lot as well.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Iambic Agendus is a great replacement for the Calendar and Address book that provides the missing link - assigning people to events! As well as lots more. I'm thinking about Iambic mail to integrate with it but need to save my money.
Of course the Iambic Office suite would be even better, allowing me to open Word and Excel docs attached to e-mails.

Is that SAIT as in the school?

What do you plan to use your SJ30 for? I use mine for recording everything I think I might need....checkbook stuff, passwords, shopping lists. I found lots of stuff at download.com in the mobile section. You probably will like something like Datebk 5 or Agendus to link contacts, appointments and to do lists. Take advantage of the try before you buy period.

Then there are the games:)
