Problem moving pics to pc

Am using nx70v with Windows XP. Recently when trying to move pictures from Clie to pc my computer goes to a blue screen and shuts down. It says something but I have not been able to stop the process to see what. It does it every time I try. Any ideas ? It worked in the past, but not now. Am using MS export on computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Use MS Import on the Clie in concert with the PC's Desktop file manager, such as Windows Explorer. Don't use MS Export.

If you still get the blue screen of death, then your PC's USB driver or memory stick is corrupt. More likely it's the PC's USB driver. It will have to be removed and reinstalled.

What else you can do is disable the PC's auto restart on error.

Go into control panel and select system. Go to the advanced tab and select startup and recovery settings. Under system failure, uncheck Automatically restart.

I have run my PC's for over a year with it disabled, without any ill effects. Otherwise your PC can reboot without warning and gives you no clue as to what the major malfunction is :)

leturn - I had your problem on Windows Advanced Server. Reformating the MS solved it for me.
