How do I e-mail my buiness card information ? I want people to be able to click on the icon I send and auto add my information to their palm OS device at their next sync.
Hmmm...I might be missing the question, but hotsyncing your contact (business card) info is dependent on the recipient choosing to hotsync their contact info.
Yes you can send your contact info to them by email, (different data formats depending on what contact client your use - eg: Outlook or Palm Desktop, etc), then the recipient can open it and choose to add it to their own desktop/contacts manager which will then be added to their palm device on their next hotsync.
I have never heard of any other method that "forces" an install without the recipient first choosing to add the info.
(I assume you already know that holding down the address button will IR your business card directly to another palm device.)
FYI - in case anyone else is interested in how to mail your contact info:
Outlook = in your email message choose "insert" from the top menu > then choose "item" and then select the data from your contacts list.
Palm Desktop = select your business card and choose "edit" from the top menu of Palm Desktop > then choose "forward as vcard"
That's about it.
