AOL is persistant in squeezing every last dollar out of us users! If your going to spend any money for a chat proggie, get Verichat instead!

I have despised AOL for a long time! Especially with their dumb email program!!!

Funny... AOL payes most of the guys over at mozilla.org (which includes great irc and email clients), yet they fight against free software. Still, I love my Mozilla (and while AOL pays for the bills right now, Mozilla is acting as an independant goup anyhow. And AOL has no rights on the code)

when i downloaded free aim, it was such a pain, it kept crashing my system so bad that i had to do a hard reset. Anyway, i went out and bought verichat, which is a multi-platform IM program, it was only 24 bucks, looks great, works great and overall is worth the cash - ps i hate having to buy, but if its what i want then i have to have it

If you don't want to pay why not use Palm MSN

Send me your email address to me via the email in my profile. I will try an arrange something for future needs. For the longest time it was freebie and when I got mine it was free...

Understood, but that's way I suggested getting Verichat, if you going to spend money give it to someone besides AOL.

I may be from the US but I still love England more! Here's a version I use and you can download it for free.

Verichat does not support IRC. Currently it supports AIM, Y!, MSN, and ICQ. I use it every day and love it. However, the current Hires+ version has a couple bugs that annoy me. I may roll back to the 320x320 version...

If you want IRC support you can grab UpIRC from palmgear.

But Verichat isn't $24. It's $24 for the first year. It's then $20 for each additional year. Maybe it's worth it, but I don't like the idea that they'll charge me $20 every year.
