Sony Wi-Fi Card on Laptop - Not Working!

I have downloaded the Intel Pro Wireless 2011B LAN CF card driver from here (http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/proc/T8Clearance.asp?sType=&agr=&url=/3982/eng/IntelPROWireless2011BLANCFCard.exe) but the driver is not working with my Windows XP and 2000 system. The driver will only work with a 'Windows CE' and 'Pocket PC' device!

When I insert the Wi-Fi card to the laptop thru an adapter, windows detected the card but where can I get a working driver? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get the drivers from Intel for the Intel branded model, find out its name and mod num and get it there.

You failed to say what OS... so if XP try MS update center...

Try this site, http://support.intel.com/support/network/wireless/index.htm. Then try using the PC card driver since you are just putting the CF WiFi card in a PCMCIA adapter. One of the PC card drivers should work for you. I was going to test on my laptop this weekend, but didn't bring it home from work and may try next weekend. I would appreciate it if you let us know what driver worked for you.

I use the card on my XP laptop. A copy of the drivers I use are on my website at www.leggnet.com/clie (named Intelpro--something). Its been awhile but I think I just put the card in and then pointed the install routine the the unzipped files.

When I try to install the files for the card it says that I must install Windows CE services before running this installation. Any ideas?
