Wow...I put some drum and bass remixes of techno songs (specifically "God is God remix" and "Smack my ***** up remix") and I put the bass up to 3 and I used my new headphones that I had only used on my iPod (Cheapo Coby ultra-bass headphones, they sound better than my dad's $500 studio headphones) and wow...

If only there could be headphones like that that would go on your gut and be hooked up to the clie...

yeah, just make sure you use headphones on Mega Bass 3.... it
sounds really bad with the built-in speaker.

I lost my headphones that I got originally with my T665, so I've got to get some new ones that have a volume control on the cord.

Has anyone tried EarHuggers?
http://www.earhugger.com/h_phones_t1_original.shtml

I decided that I want something that won't fall out of my ears when the cord gets accidentally tugged on.... it's not really easy to find some good headphones that have a volume control on the side.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I ended up getting a pair of foldable headphones that Sony makes (Model MDR-A35). They sound great and fold down to a very small size for packing away.

I recently got some Koss Sporta-Pro headphones... wow, talk about a lot of bass!

They had to be broken in (left them playing on the radio a few days continuously) but sound pretty good.

Good enough to reveal that 96k MP3 sounds like crap. :-(

Those earhugger designs are really tight (not style-wise).

I'm considering the new headphones from Bose http://www.bose.com/home_audio/whats_new.shtml?pers_from=insert_qc2_home ... btw, what do you guys consider as a respectable bitrate for MP3s? I'm setting mine as 128 currently. Sounds nice from the headphones that came with my n760c.

You might want to consider earbuds as an alternative to headphones. Given the Clie's size and portability, I prefer to use earbuds when listening to music. I recommend the Etymotic ER-6 model. They are high-end, but the sound output of the Clie is worthy of spending $129. Additionally, I use them with my CD player and portable radio when I work out at the gym. Go to this website to check them out: http://www.headphone.com/layout.php?topicID=3&subTopicID=26&productID=0020100100 (http://). You will get full dynamic response as well as shutting out unwanted environmental sounds. There is even a higher-end model, but that model is even more expensive @ $269. The sound output is clearly a cut above the ER-6 (which I have personally verified) and fabulous sounding, if cost is no issue.

to s_n_m: can you be a little more descriptive when you say the earhuggers are tight? Are you saying they are uncomfortable, or that they are good because they won't fall off?

I'm looking for some low-cost but decent headphones that have the volume control on the cord. Thanks for the replies so far

I don't like the design because I think they are a bit uncomfortable, but seriously they won't fall off. My friend has one made by koss I think and it felt a little weird to have this thing groping my whole ear. But, eh.
