How do you expect to get a serious reply to your poll when you keep spamming the website?

I don't think a 130 post in 4 months of being a member can be categorize me as a spammer. You idiots who are stating the same comments over and over again are wasting your precious space.

no. not 130 posts in 4 months...starting multiple threads to ask the same question at the same time. post it once and have some patience! do you not know what spamming is?

But actually PAYING something would be against The Tao of Ghetto.
I took a look at the game. I wonder what the NAACP would think of my forwarding the link, they haven't sued anyone or made a stink in a while...

Spam isn't cool, but threatening to sqash the spammer's right to free speech is downright evil.
Just because you can't see the humor in Ghettopoly and you don't agree with it doesn't give you the right to hush it up.
Stereotypes exist for a reason. Face it. Get over it. This game hurts no one, and violates nobody's rights. It's all in fun and humor.
So quit treading on other people's rights to say what they want/feel/think no matter what it is or who it offends. You don't like the game? Don't buy it. Simple.
Let's stop with the politically correct bull**** and use a bit more political common sense, mmmkay?
I for one want to see it on palm, as long as its in highres :) If you do make it i am willing to offer myself as beta tester.

No doubt, I second that. But how is this post a SPAM? is it my avatar or my signature or the way I ask the question.

This ONE post is not a spam. Posting MANY posts of the same question / statement is considered by many a spam. If you want to ask about this game, just ask it in the Game section. Don't post it in the sections for General, T series , NX series, NR series, SJ series, and on and on and on..... We see them all listed on the Cliesource main page and get annoyed. Just ask once in one section and have some patience please!

I think spam is the wrong term. I used it because others were using it. Spam, to me, is unsolicited email advertisements. What you were doing wasn't spam, but it was annoying. I personally would not waste my time to complain about it. I would just mutter under my breath and get on with life. ;)
But when some a$$hole starts talking about trying to take away others' rights to freedom of any kind, I get pissed.
Ghettopoly looks hilarious. I would definitely be interested in checking it out on Palm OS. I second the vote for hi-res (and not just for Palm OS 5).

I've seen you post ads for this game a few times now, and I'd like to point out a few problems with your marketing that I'm seeing. This is meant to be constructive criticism, so please take it as such.
You're trying to do marketing research, which is necessary, but maybe posting repeatedly on the forums isn't the best way. Take out some ads, distribute some free units, look for feedback on people that have actually played the game.
In a few of the posts, people have expressed a certain revulsion at the subject matter. I have to admit I share this viewpoint, but it is your right to express yourself however you see fit. What I can't tolerate are some of the responses you've spouted. You call people idiots when soliciting their opinions when these opinions don't coincide with yours. You have the audacity to imply that only whites can be racist (didn't look up a direct quote) by saying something to the effect of being asian, you can't be racist. For that statement alone, I would never purchase a product you've made.
Its obvious you've invested alot of time and effort into this game. I personally feel that it is unfortunate that you couldn't find a more healthy creative outlet, but that's just me. There are those here that don't share my views on the racist aspect of your game, and that's fine, but you coming off as a pushy salesman when someone turns down the extended warranty on a fridge is only going to alienate the people you're trying to sell to.
When someone doesn't express interest in what you're selling, thank them for their time, and back the **** off.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree with some parts of the above post, but not all. I find the humor in the game and I think JayN760 has been reading my mind and posting my thoughts on the game ;) anyways from an objective view, here are the problems with your marketing strategy:
1) Multiple threads aren't bad, except when they're on the same site. But then if you post threads advertising it on boards you don't frequent, it becomes annoying as you're viewed as a 'spammer'
2) It's even worse when you insult people in those threads you create. If you just replied politely, then people would be less likely to want to tell the NAACP about it (not like they could take you down) What I'm trying to say is that when you advertise a game that offends someone, then nsulting them, not only do they view the game as offensive, but also they think the creator is a jackass and want absolutely nothing to do with it. If you were polite, they'd probably just forget about it pretty quick....Then if you're polite, you don't turn off the people that may like the game, but get pissed that you insult and argue with people that have dissenting opinions.
That's my opinion on that, take it for what you will.
On another note, I think it's really cool that you actually designed the game and are actively selling it, that is cool. I get the impression you did this on your own? Or are you doing it for a company? It looks pretty humorous.
One More thing:

why do people flame unregistered!? (Ok, I understand why, but you know what I mean) It just proves that person has no balls (or guts if a female) . If you feel so strongly about it, then why not go ahead and risk getting banned? if it's so important why would it bother you to get banned for something you believe in? Or better yet, why don't you come up with an intelligent argument with no yelling or insulting and have a decent debate.....I think if people could be mature about it and 'duke it out' in a calm manner, this issue would go away.......
okay BESIDES the comments on spamming etcetc..ill post something about the game itself
I bought the Handmark version of Monopoly and Ive heard of a lot of gripes about it last year. My main gripe about monopoly was the lack of better computer AI (theyre always getting seemingly good stuff and making the must ridiculous trade proposals with me that no DECENT monopoly player would accept and yet the computer opponents accept readily).
Personally Id LOVE to try this game if it could be ported over to Palm. Put me down as a beta tester!!!

I completely understand where you are coming from. Yes I admit that I shouldn't have posted the same message in multiple threads. As soon as someone brought it to my attention, Iˇ¦ve stop the practice completely. I was merely sharing my game with you guys here at Cliesource. I was excited about my game and I wanted some feedbacks. But the only feedback I received initially is that someone insulted me be calling me Stupid and an also a Troll. I later found out that she was just an ignorant coward and I shouldn't have sunk down to her level. I was defending myself, and nobody seems to be talking about that. I apologize for ˇ§Spammingˇ¨ I am new to the internet forums, so I have not yet master all the proper ways to post.
Question: When Christ Rock or any other comedians comment and joke around about race, do we call them all racists as well?

David, jomoco5 is the person who called you a troll. She can't back up an argument, she has to use someone elses, LOL PATHETIC!!!!
I owned her in another thread, and after I replied to her I edited my post only to see that she read my post and she deleted hers like a pussy. She didn't want to admit that I was right. Now she ignores me without any reason.
I think we are all getting a bit out of hand. Anyone who doesnt want to read this thread should not have clicked on it. (oh wait....I clicked the thread!)
But to be serious.....I really do think this WOULD make a cool Palm game. Despite the thread spamming ;)

I honestly doubt the NAACP has gone more than 3 hours on any given day without opening up another lawsuit.
On a side question I'm still confused.. is it okay to call black people Colored? Cuz, NAACP is supposed to be their big brother advocate for equal rights and even their name uses the word Colored. Am I missing something or is that the same reason why black people can call each other the "N"-word and its okay?
Just white and lost in a black man's world. Help? ?

No interest at all here. I checked the web site and feel that the game tries to be offensive but only succeeds in being derivative and sophomoric. Ick. Wouldn't even take a freeware version.

Do you still feel the same way, hahahahahahaah. Hopefully, you wasn't one of the investors in Ghettopoly ($100,000+ debacle).
Was it the NAACP, the game itself, the *****y owner, or a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
