can't watch video on 1gig cf

I have a Kingston (Toshiba brand) 1gig CF card that works swell cept that I cannot watch movies?????????


The same movies that work on Sandisk 64cf card. I tried fat 32 and reg fat (16) still no movie watching. It hangs the movie player in my clie nx 70 and forces me to reset

I purchased the 1gig to watch movies now its just a book case.
(ebooks and backup o card atm).

well, firstly Eruware driver doesn't support FAT32.
& 2nd, movies that were playable off your SanDisk 64MB CF doesn't necessarily means that it would work on the 1G Kingston.
It depends on the brand, size is another issue as well. Perhaps you should try some other new or different length of movies & see if they will work. :p
I have a 256MB SanDisk CF & then went for the 1G SanDisk, same brand CF but different size. 8 out of 10 of my movies from the 256MB CF didn't work on the 1G. :)

sorry that was me there with the above post with the 1G SanDisk collecting dust as of now. But it was quite a bargain so I had to plunge for it. $179.99 (no shipping/ no rebates)
but movies tends to work well with CF card size as follow:
256MB : HighQuality/ Standard Quality OK
512MB : Standard/ Long Mode OK
1G : Standard / Long Mode (mostly) OK

Muy Bueno! I can watch Standard and Long converts no prob // high Quality was da problem mateees. So I can Watch movies now. but not at high res / maybe they'll fix dat in nest cf update
