I just saw some one post something about a MS stick version - but I don't know for sure who makes it.

An actual plug in type deal? Probably not...I gave up waiting.
Plenty of good Palm GPS programs that will take NMEA output though. I cable my Garmin Etrex to mine.
Also the I've read of using the Bluetooth stick with a Bluetooth GPS successfully with Mapopolis.

I got this unit (http://www.satconsystem.de/sonygps2.html) available from here (http://www.agnavigation.com/) email satcon.com@t-online.de .

The car charger adapter powers and charges the NX's batteries, uses the NX's T-series connector. It works great, fast acquisition times, very accurate, the antenna is very small and you mount it on the dash or with a magnet mount on the roof (the cable is long enough). It's NMEA compliant and should work with most mapping software.

I'm using it with Mapopolis, can't say enough good things about the combo of this GPS with the NX and Mapopolis. Great in-car GPS/Mapping/Navigation solution for the NX.

Does mapopolis work on the memory stick?

You can place the maps on the stick and Mapopolis will load them from there to internal memory county by county. There is also an option to load "contiguous i.e., connecting counties as well. Maps for cities can be quite big. It's a good program with some nice features (interfaces with address book).
Mapopolis has a pretty good package deal right now with the mouse GPS though I don't think it has external power like the one mentioned earlier. I chose an interface cable for my Garmin/NX that has external power.
DeLorme has a PDA interface (Xmap) to load and use their map products on your PDA with GPS input as well. Bonus there being you get the desktop maps as well and can use either topo maps or road maps.
www.Cetus GPS.de is a good freeware GPS program for Palm. Lots of features and very stable on OS5.
