I found a Site that has Movies/Videos!!!

I found a site that has movies and they all seem to work with my NZ.

It's a site that has mpg movies, funny TV commercials, 3D animations, movie trailors, etc.. in mpeg format. The site advertises that the content is for PPC, however I downloaded a bunch of the movies and after using the "image converter" software that came on our Clie install disk to convert the movies they all seem to play perfectly with sound on my NZ.

download a movie then convert with image converter and import to your Clie.

I tried a few trailers and got this message:

Yes I noticed this after I created the post. I guess I got too excited!!!
but they do have some great animations and TV commercials... i especially like the commercial where the girl gets in the car on the blind date and farts!! good humor!

do they work with the NX 70 model? and what programmes do i have to install on my Clie to get this movies running? Cheers!

This site has been around for a long time, and there is some great content there. Check out an animated short called Wrong Landing - it is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. By the way these are mpeg1 and will play without conversion on the nx/nz but the file size is too large to make it practical.

I used "image converter" , which came with our Clie's... (it's on the install CD).
This seems to reduce the image size quite a bit... in fact I output many of the animations at medium quality which brings the size way down. I load them on my memory stick and they run great!

-It's the only site i am aware of that has PDA sized video's available for free download.

Does anyone know of any other sites like this one??? where we can download videos for free??? -no I am not interesed in MJPD (i think that's the name of the site)...it's way too confusing and there are too many passwords that you have to log in. Not interested in IRC either... way too complicated and frustrating to get the hang of.

I know its a bit off topic...,

in regards to your avatar... have you seen the newest photos of
the 2005 mustang? I am sorry to say that while I was very impressed
with the prototype photo (as in your avatar) the newer more closer
to production photos that I've been looking at are looking quite dissapointing! Ford seems to be making what looked like a really hot car, dissapointly bland in style. I think the 2005 will end up being minorly improved over the 2003...nothing as radical as in the prototype photos. :(
