Buttons work in closed mode??!! NOrmal??

I'm the proud new user of a NX70V, noticed that the buttons like on/off, back button and the jog dial of my NX actually works when my CLIE is in the closed mode. The screen is switched off, but the buttons still work(I'm not talking about the tablet mode) Is this normal? I used to use a NR70V and the unit is on hold when the CLIE is in closed mode...so the buttons don't work... Not a big problem, and in fact is quite convenient when i want to use the jog dial to operate the volume actually... but wanna find out if this is normal.

Yes it's normal. If the unit is shut off, then only the camera button is active.

I believe it is normal. When the lid is closed it only turns off the screen. I don't it actually goes into hold mode.

ok, thanks! i got a bit of a shock when the unit switched off when i accidentally depressed the power button while in closed mode. Hmm...wonder why they do not make it in the same way the NR worked.
