View Full Version : CF driver...
Hello,
Does there exist a version of evaluation of the driver CF for NX70V?
It is a little expensive and I will like to test it before?
Thanks

No. In order to curb the community of people who try to exploit legitimate developers and hack their software, Eruware has made an attempt to make their product more secure by binding the software to the purchaser.
If you need the storage and don't want to spend tons of money on memory sticks, you won't be sorry for purchasing this driver. Even with its current functionality it gives you tons more options for keeping content close at hand on your Clie.
I keep lots of MP3's, short clips, and a few large but less used programs on mine and keep stuff that I constantly use on my memory stick. This gives me the best "mix" of functionality for the present.
Amir and the group at Eruware are constantly reading these forums and improving their product ....and updates are free to those who have purchased the driver.
You could spend just as much on a game or some other piece of software but, after buying a few big programs -- where U gonna put 'em??
Just my humble opinion and I hope it helps.

The folks at Eruware have put together a great product that expanded the already strong usefullness of my NX-70. Think of the $27 as an investment in your NX. Their are 1G CF cards available in todays market at 1/5 the cost of an equivalent Memory stick. So the $27 spent will be a bargain.
The guys at Eruware work hard at keeping their driver state of the art. They are responsive to user questions and problems.
So if you really want to take advantage of the Expansion slot in your NX. $27 is a small price to pay.

Thanks Larry! I usually just "hang around" in the forums trying to soak up all the great information all of you "seniors" provide. I guess it's about time to start getting involved a little more?

I'd say my house is a better investment but it's a solid app that has worked with barely an incident for me. I'm satisfied, and I only use it on a 256mb CF card just for mp3s. Well worth the $27.
I second that about houseing investment...(can't do anything without a roof top) But just the thought of my morgage loan really kills me. oh well... life goes on. :D

The ability to use CF/SD/MS/SM on my NX is almost priceless.
