Problems with Jog Dial

I use my NX for e-books, and the jog dial is a wonderful thing... Except that this morning it seemed to go nuts! This morning I set my Clie down on the desk while surfing the web and I started to here the system click coming from my Clie! All by itself, it turned on and was slowing flipping through the pages backwards... I tried flipping the jog dial, but it didn't work. It just kept going backward. I hit the power button and turned my Clie off, thinking I would just take it back to CompUSA to let them check it out - it turned itself on and started flipping the jog dial backward!!! I was seriously freaked out when that happened! :) I reset my Clie, but to no avail - I sat here watching it slowly flip through the icons backward... W_E_I_R_D! Then it just stopped. I pushed the Jog Dial in (really hard, mind you) and now it seems to be okay. Anyone else ever have this possessed Clie thing happen?

Sounds like the button was stuck. Additionally are you using a screen protector?

Yes, I am using WriteRight screen protectors and I just put a new one on yesterday morning... Why?

Hmmm...what would the screen protector do to make the Jog Dial behave in this way???

The other thing is the way that my Clie turned itself on... I had not touched the power button (maybe I did inadvertantly) but it came back on all by itself after I shut it off!

Something supernatural maybe? haha...imagine this happening in the middle of the night after you have just caught a horror film
