hard reset

I can't find my manual. Anyone remember how to do a hard reset?

Hold power as you push in the rest button on the back.
Release when it seems to stop loading.
It should then ask you if you want to do a hard reset.
Hit the up button to confirm or anything else to cancel.

Push in the reset button, push in the power button, wait 6 seconds, release the reset button, when you see the palm logo release the power button and then you will see the "erase all data, yes, no", choose yes and you are on your way.

I found another way to do a hard reset last night - by using MSImport with WinXP. 

 

When WinXP crashes, just unplug the the cable from the Clie and you'll get a hard reset if you're lucky!!

Hmm, let me do a hard reset and see if Tixx is right.

Darn, would you look at that, now I have to recalibrate the digitizer :(

So I guess Tixx was right afterall. Anyone else want to experiment :D?
