Can you use the NZ90 with the CLIÉ Wireless LAN Card
PEGA-WL110 and this plan: http://www.verizonwireless.com/mobile_ip/index.html

Or do you need some other adapter or service?

Hypothecially, I want to be able to access the internet while I am in the car. Is this what I need?

What you need is a cellular phone. It can be connected to the Clie by Cable or Bluetooth. I don't know if Verizon offers a compatible Bluetooth phone yet. The most popular phone with Bluetooth seems to be the Sony-Erickson T68i. There is not much to choose from for Bluetooth compatibility with the Clie.

www.thesupplynet.com is one place to look for a cable or to see if one is available for any new phone that you might consider.

Unreg, the WL110 card only works if you are surrounded by a wireless LAN network. You find it in some corporate settings, universities, as well as at some coffee shops & airports. Often there is a charge to connect.
This is different from connecting to the net using a cell phone - which is more similar to using a modem with your PC. n2ifp is correct in that the T68i is a great way to go.
By the way, please tell us that you don't plan to access the internet while driving.... If so, let me know when I need to get off the road. :)

Does Sony or "after-market" company have any plans for adding a Wireless Modem to the NZ Series? Similiar to what Pocket PCs offer?
