I think I read just about every thread on the MS Pro, and I thought I understood what I was getting into when I bought it, but I am just about ready to take it back. I bought a 256 mg Sandisk MS Pro, and installed the update from Sony. But I've had three hard resets (not because of the stick) since I started using it, and recovering from them is a nightmare. My Clie can't see the card without the update installed, but simply hotsyncing and letting BackupBuddy reinstall all my files doesn't work. I crash as soon as the hotsync is over. So then I tried sending just the update file over via IR from my laptop, installing that, and then hotsyncing. Major crash. I've ended up having to reinstall each file by hand after each hard reset. Is this typical? How do all of you with MS Pros deal with this? It just isn't worth the extra space to me, and I'm considering either going back to my trusty 128 mg, or at least getting a 128x2 stick. Any advice?

I have had to hard reset and I have not had any issues with the pro sticks at all... I recover by doing a hot sync firt then I recover from back ups on the stick... sometimes I have recovered from the stick first so I do wonder what is up with that... I also use Jackflash and everything goes right back to normal...

I keep a normal mem stick with backups on it with me.

I just had a hard reset with the Pro and have to do the same, at least keeping the Clie Updated and a copy of Flash Enable for Jack Flash.

I also keep backups on the MS using Backupman and also use MSbackup for further contingency.

I have both BackupMan and CardBauckUp doing scheduled backups. This saved me just last week as BackupMan was deactivated for a week for some reason:)

Funny you say that - I have an issue about Backupman where is skips a day each week. I have all 7 days scheduled but talking to the developer has not resolved the issue. There is no log so not sure why it is happening. As per his advice its running in RAM (not Flash) but still the same problem.

I have it in flash, but I think moving it back and forth produced a conflict and when it is in flash and you hit the part running from the card you will find that exiting it will cause an error. Not resolved through speaking with him either:(

There is a new version coming out in the next week or so but will not resolve the missing day problem. I did have it in Flash but he receommended to move it from there. Teh developer promised a log function in v2 but not sure when available. Without it so hard to debug

I have had two hard resets since Sunday after getting the MS Pro. The system update and patch is installed too. I really don't see any speed increase so far :(.

Isn't the latest version of JackFlash compatible with the NX60 & 70? If so, can't the MS Pro driver be put into flash so a hard reset will not lead to imcompatibility with the MS Pro sticks?

I don't have my NX yet so I can't speak from experience.
