Good to see that integrated BT is confirmed by Sony :D .... BTW, anybody wanna guess what that big blue light near the camera is suppose to be ? It doesn't look bright enough to be a flash for the camera, and it looks too big to be a BT indicator led ... Hmmm ...

I guess that light near the camera is a flashlight... not a flash, but a flashlight. It could be useful when you are close enough to the object. Perhaps a real flash is too power hungry for a PDA.

But you notice that light is actually on the non-rotateable portion of the hinge ? ... which means it probably wasn't designed to work in conjunction with the camera ...

yes the light is so stupid! haha It's cool when it stays constantly on and shines blue, but when bluetooth is not connected but enabled, it just blinks and blinks and blinks and blinks and drives you insane.

neo, can you change your title to make it more specific?

Geee, it would seem to be an unncessary waste of battery to power such a huge BT indicator ... what was sony thinking ?

I sure hope there's a way to turn of the blinking :) ...

I don't think the BT indicator is huge, I think the bluetooth LED is exactly the same size as the other ones, its just more translucent space is set aside for the blue LED of bluetooth to show through.

Also, no method of turning off blinking on the TG50, what the heck was sony thinking? You gotta wonder about those cooky bastards.

Except, of course disabling Bluetooth, which does a nice job of disabling the blinking =)

11 Mo disponibles, Must mean 11meg usable. What a drag, it is so hard to fit everything into such a tight space.

I could direct airplanes with the BT light on the TG-50, so I installed BTToggle to turn Bluetooth on and off with the record button. Any chance the NX will have a dedicated BT toggle hard key?

actually, the BT light on the NX looks even bigger and brighter than the light on the TG... scary

Yikes!!! I like the style but that blue light will have to be able to be shut off, but it does look like it swivels with the knarled little finger gripper thingy right next to it. :)

Imagine, put the flashing blue light of the NX73V or TG50 next to a flashing red light on your car dash and you could impersonate a police car. :D
