Hello,

I have had keyquick for some time now and need to understand the following:

Under Control Tap Pref - there is an init label: Cancel: Done:OK:Yes...What does this do? What is the purpose of different commands in this field? What is the startkey for?

Under Key Pref - if you assign a Ctrl direct tap, there is a label. What is this for?

Final question, I use Agendus and would like to be able to scroll down the contact fields when entering new data. Control tap doesn't seem to achieve this. Does "Priority is Ctrl out of the Field" the issue?

I was wondering what people are using this for.

I would very much like to know some useful KeyPref shortcuts people are using to increase their input efficiency.

Thanks.

I hate to see no responses to a Q, so I'll take a stab at this, although I can only respond to two of your queries.

As regards Agendus and getting the scrollable list of contacts, I cheated-- I created a bogus contact name, beginning with a dash, i.e., -bogus. That allows me to just enter the dash in the contacts field, then tap the diamond-- which pops up the desired FULL scrollable listing of the address book names. What can I tell ya-- it's quick and dirty, but it works.

In terms of increasing input efficiency, I relied HEAVILY on a hack, Pop!, when using my Treo90. Earlier this week, it was upgraded for OS5 devices. Darn near broke my face, I was grinnin' so hard!! That new version does NOT require Tealmaster, as it's now a stand alone deal, despite its hack-like quality. Free upgrade for registered users. I think it's $12 otherwise. It's a joy to configure (now) and use, so much so that I seldom have to go thru the red or control key combo sequences anymore. I just added the symbols I use most frequently to the pop-up list. Super quick, and seems rock solid.
