I am currently using Launcher X ...quite stable. I found some strange behavior of even some hard resets while using CF. I am blaming this situation to JackFlash which looks to have some LX incompatibilities....have any of you facing some kind of trouble between them??

Unfortunatly, I had similar problems (but not CF-related.) On my NX70V, JackFlash and LauncherX would simply not play nicely together. I had numerous fatal errors, many soft resets, and even a hard reset or two. Not pretty. It was so bad that simply uninstalling LauncherX didn't help. Not until I uninstalled JackFlash, did two hard resets, re-installed JackFlash, and then added back each app, did things return to "normal."
This "forced" me to give ZLauncher a second look, and I haven't looked back since.
I don't know if the problem is with LauncherX or JackFlash, but for me, the fact remains that LauncherX is the ONLY app that has caused any (severe) problems when I had JackFlash installed.

Yes, certainly, it is this combination (LX/JF) which is causing all this resets...I uninstalled the CF and its Erudriver and the problem persists. In my case, soft-resets have been substituted by "hard" ones. As soon as I uninstall JF everything return to normal.
I am using JF 3.04b, I dont know if future versions of any of both might correct this annoying incompatibility. I will wait for couple weeks before switch to ZL, if necessary....
Thanks to reply...

Isn't there a later version of JackFlash (b7 maybe?) that is reported not to have a problem when running with LauncherX?

Same here. I had JackFlash and was happily running it for nearly a year without any issues. LX comes along, I install it, it starts getting resets and strange things start to happen.
LX support suggests "uninstall JackSprat and anything in flash then install LX ... and don't install JackSprat after that".
Well - this solution wasn't helpful since MegaLauncher, LaunchEm, LauncherIII, ZLauncher, YiShow and SilverScreen did not exhibit any "reactions" to JackSprat.
... out went LX and I've been happily using ZLauncher since then.
Is the problem that LX was put in Flash ROM? Or was there a problem even if LX was left in RAM?
Is this problem only with OS 5 Clies?
Has anyone tried the LX and JackFlash combo on an OS 4.1 Clie such as a T665?
Thanks!

I had a problem with LX when LX was in RAM. Not flash.
For some reason, LX conflicted with JackFlash.
This was on a T615C with OS4.1 - so I would expect that LX may play up on a T665.
Subsequent release of LX fixed this problem, but the number of updates since then and the poor support meant that I did not feel very confident of them after this.
