Will Post Review of Agendus 6.1 Pro

I just purchased Agendus 6.1 Pro. I am very curious having been a long-time user of the built-in Datebook program.

The review will come from the point of view of someone whos never used anything else such as Datebk5.

Thanks for offering to do this. I'm a long-time Agendus user but am in the middle of testing BeyondContacts from DataViz. I'm tempted to go back to Agendus for the hi-res+ support -- I really miss using the full NR screen.

This review is likely to be most useful to someone who has never used anything other than the standard built-in Palm OS Datebook app.

First impressions...

I have it running and registered for a few days now.

WHat I like:
- New appointment feature: much more control and features here than the standard
The button for this feature instantly gives you access to: Annual Event, Weekly Meeting, Meeting, Journal Entry, Call, ToDo, Contact and Message.

- When making a new meeting, I really like what I call the "time bar" feature. Click and drag for how long the meeting runs, you can click on the time to fine-tune it.

- Setting an alarm is much better, more features and options such as changing the alarm sound. I also like that you get a preview of the meeting time (Meeting: 6/12/03 2:25pm and then Alarm: 6/12/03 2:20pm) No longer having to remember when the meeting took place.

- I am really impressed with the many different views you can set for the dates. I have what I think is the "List view which gives me a quick peek at the next 5 days.

- I like the color integration here too.

Summer term starts here in just over a week, so it will get much more use during that time and I will update with how it has performed in real-world use!
