I have an N760c that works perfectly except it doesn't seem to hold a charge. I put it on the cradle and the like comes on like it is charging and it shows it is charging on the screen. But as soon as i take it off, it shuts off as if it hasn't charge at all. Even if i just left it on the charger for hours. I tried to buy a new charger and it didn't help. I would like to get this fixed because it is pretty unusable right now. Any tips?

Sounds like the battery is dead. First time I heard this though.

Maybe try charging it directly instead of using the cradle?  Might be a faulty connector that's not letting it charge . . .

Oh, and I've also read that sometimes, taking a q-tip dipped in alcohol and cleaning the contacts (on both clie & cradle) helps . . . might be worth a shot.

I've also noticed that it depends on how you use your Clie as well. I went two whole days without charging it on good usage. I was using my Clie for a solid 7-10 hours each day too. Using some backlight when I need, and constant mp3 playback on a 128 Memory Stick.

Now that's personal entertainment. :)

I bought mine used though.. so I constantly charge when I'm home.
