Hi all

I am planning to buy an eMac 1GHz thingy in the next month, but I am worried about getting the same use from my NX70V as I do from a PC.

At the moment I use Docs-to-go but the Mac version does not seem to support email. I use my PDA extensively for reading mail later. What software can I use to sync with CLIE Mail or other mail software?

Also, I am confused by what software I need to get! Do I NEED Palm Desktop for Mac? Can I just use iSync for syncing the basic stuff like To-Do's, Phonebook, Appointments and Memos? Does Docs-to-go work with iSync?

I guess MissingSync is a must.

If anyone can explain it in plain english I would be pleased.

Hmmm... it appears that you've never used the Clie on a Mac... i also have a Mac and a NX Clie... mine is the NX60...

Well... Here is how it works... Documents to go for Mac doesn't quite work the same as for the PC... But If you're buying a eMac now, you will receive the Mac OS X 10.2... the Jaguar... and with it, there is the Mail.app from apple.. which CAN be syncronized with the Clie through the third party application for hotsync you WILL have to buy for Sync... it's called Missing Sync... It didn't work well at first, but after a few updates I have no complaints...

iSync wasn't the best application Apple ever made... I hate it because it makes the hotsync slow and the new Palm Desktop is very good...

Besides... if you ever have any problems you can turn to the Mac Forum...

I don't use iSync. I have no use as long as I only have a 3360 for a phone. Just use palm desktop.
