Have seen lots of people using either AcidImage or SplashPhoto to view photo in JPEG format, I have tried them both too. But I found the resolution of the photo is much much better when using PG Pocket + PictureGear that come with Clie CD and view in PGP format. And if I want to create a sliceshow, PhotoStand is there for me to use and I could even run the created slices from memory stick directly.
So my question is: What is the advantage trigger you to choose either AcidImage or SplashPhoto, when PG Pocket + PictureGear & PhotoStand could probably give you all you need?

Could you please explain these two in more details? PG Pocket can zoom in/out and view large images, too. Or does AcidImage has even better ability on this two point?

I would recomend that you keep doing what you are already doing. That is milk as much knowledge as you can as to the features that are available with the combination of PG Pocket, PhotoStand, and Clie Paint. All three of these apps work together to make a pretty powerfull suite on a clie. After you have seen the extent of the features of these apps, I would go and compare the features to AcidImage. You will find that there are features available with the PG suite that are not available with AcidImage and you will find features in AcidImage that are not available in PG. You might find the features in one or the other useless. For example, the fact that images can be loaded via AcidImage without conversion doesn't interest me, because I would convert the images anyway in order to reduce the size. You'll just have to see how what you are planning on doing with images on your device. There is a tutorial in the "Tutorials" section that covers some advantages to the PG suite.

If someone has an NX60/70, it doesn't have PG Pocket, just Clie Viewer. With a fair amount of pictures on the Clie, it takes forever to view them. Acid Image is light years faster to use.
I prefer the PGPocket /PhotoStand combo. I like the larger files (which btw are smaller than some other apps.' photo conversions) because I use the zoom feature. And I store the photo files on the MS, so file size is a moot point as long as you're willing to get enough memory sticks.

Doesn't AcidImage works only on OS5-devices? I.e. NX???
