Interesting. Did they upgrade their customer support?
:D

Uh uh... don't like bug-ridden software that charged for upgrades.
Hmm... Intedestink...
Everytime someone announced good news about Actionnames / Agendus, you see 50 other users complaining about bad experience - waiting for the other 48 now... ;)

Which always strikes me as strange. I've been an Agendus/Action Names user for 3 years and have always had prompt feedback and resolution of any problems I've reported. If "good" support requires an acknowledgment and reply to support questions immediately, I would guess that most shareware and commercial software authors are deficient.

That is true, however, only the Pro version has the new views. I'm disappointed in Iambic for the first time and I've written them about it (we'll see what they say). I've had good success with them and very much like Agendus. That won't change because of a lack of a couple of nice-to-have features. But it seems that there is more to the pro versus standard editions than just the mail client. If they sold the pro version as an upgrade without the mail client, then maybe I'd go for that. Historically, they have chanrged for major upgrades and I understand that. It allows them to keep developing. Face it, companies like ZZTechs are unusual. Most commercial software companies charge either support or an upgrade fee. However, I don't like having to pay for a minor upgrade.
If I'm wrong with my facts, please let me know.

The multi-line issue is still there, I went back to 6.01 right away :(

Anyone trying 6.1 have more than one Qtr view? The web site suggests more than one Qtr view, but what I installed only has one view.

The new Quarter view is for the Professional version only.

I was thinking that too. But they shouldn't show the additional views when they show the STD features on their site.

Minor upgrade for the Standard version. The icons in the menu bar are "prettier," and that's about all I can visualize. I do like this change . . . just glad I didn't have to pay for it because I would have passed!
I still feel like I might be changing to DateBK X.X in the near future. I do think that Agendus wins the GUI (not features) between the two at this time.

No...I have tried, both standard & pro version have the same issue. I am using SJ30. Remember, this issue will not appear if you don't check these two option:
1. Enable Multi-Line Entries With Contacts Only On 1st Line
2. High Resolution Display
If both checked, then you could only see two line in Date Split View, even there are more lines. Without HiRes, it is ugly as hell... 6.01 has no such issue :(

Why is it ugly? I don't use the High Resolution mode, everything is too small.

Why can't Iambic allow the start day to be any day chosen, why must it be either Sunday or Monday? I want the start day in week view to be today.
Also the pop up views in month and graphical week in Datebk5 would be cool as well.

I haven't tried the latest, and hope that iambic finally has included a List view like in the DateBk products. If they include that, I might seriously consider it.
