buying NX70, last minute questions

God bless Circuit City and the No Hassle policy. I purchased a Sony SJ30 2 months ago. It started freaking out on me. I had the extended warranty so I returned it where they just refunded my money since they NO LONGER CARRY the SJ30.
I went for a Palm M515, and 2 days later went for another, the next day I went for a Sony T665.
After a week I decided I want the Full Montey. I think I'm going for the NX70.
I have searched for feedback on this unit but see mostly problem related topics. I was going to wait for the NZ but have discovered (here on Cliesource) that it's as big as my ex-HP720.

I also don't need a 2 MP camera, 600X800 rez will do just fine. I guess my questions are:

-Will The NX run YiShow
-Is there any way to revert to the old 4.1 and below OS UGI
-Expected battery life based on useage of 5 minutes or less 5 to ten times per day
-Can I play low rez games, ie- does OS 5.0 have the support low rez feature that the 665 and SJ30 had under Prefs.
-Anyone use the Sony brand screen protector, how well does it work. The specs say it's reuseable.
-Anybody tried an E/B slipper case, belt clip?
-Get the extended Circuit City warranty?

Any help here would be appreciated,

People on here VASTLY OVEREXAGGERATE the size issue. Read the exact size specs on sony's website before making that determination. It is bigger than the Nx, but not to the great degree that everybody whines and carries on about. As to your other questions.

Out of my area of expertise - can't answer that one.
I use mine for about 20 minutes, 10x daily and have yet to run down the charge.
Not too much of a gameboy - again I'll defer on that one.
Yes - used it and hated it. There are others that work better for cheaper.
Don't care for slipper cases - currently using a case bought from roadwired.com

Sorry I couldn't answer all of them. Nx is a good machine definitely. As to the NZ - do your own homework before walking past it. I'm going to upgrade to it, but I know that it's not a machine for everybody.

The NX will run the OS5 version of YiShow only!

Why do you want to revert to a v4.1 UGI, what purpose would that serve?

Battery usage is slightly more, you have a more powerful processor now, and  especially if you run WiFi.

Some low rez games either work or don't, there is no selection in Prefs.

I don't use screen protectors.

I use a side open case from Brando, mainly because of the WiFi card could interfere.

The warranty is up to you, I never had to use a warranty. I save my money for the next new toy, as I usually buy a new one long before it wears out. The only recent warranty was for my Sony HDTV, for 5 years. It has become too big, heavy, expensive, and complex for me to self service it anymore.

BTW, the TV and warranty was from Circuit City.

I already have 3 laptops and three cameras, why would I need an NZ90 for? Even the NX was bulkier and heavier than the NR. I know a smaller one can be made with HiRes+ with all the bells and whistles, so I am holding out for that. It will come eventually, Sony is known that is can make big products in small packages.

Thanks guys for the quick response. In the photos the NZ 'is' thicker overall. I don't need Bluetooth so I think the NX will do just fine.
Can anybody tell me if the NX's memory stick sits flush when inserted? Also does the CF slot do 'anything' besides the WiFi?

Yes, the stick inserts flush. So far all Iknow of that the slot works for is WiFi and a few certain modems that the experts here translated Japanese drivers for.

Littlesix- Which roadwired case do you have? I keep going back there to look but I'm not sure what I want.
