The clie prototype we saw last week is very similar with the Sharp Zaurus C700.

In any case. I think that we should take a look to the Sharp Zaurus C700 Device in order to know what to expect from Sony about this new "Form Factor"

Here are some pictures of the Zaurus.

Also if you read this Chat with David Nagel you'll see that he says that eventually we should see "Mini Tablets" in the market, and to me The Zaurus C700 looks like a Mini Tablet.

I would like to know you opinion about this. I know that some of us have been Waiting for a T series UPDATE and that maybe this new FORM FACTOR, just won't fit our pocket.

I personally like the form factor  .  I have looked at the Tablet PCs as an alternative to PDAs but they are too big and bulky, even though they are smaller than laptops.  I look forward to the day when we have a vga mini-tablet.

My 2 cents.

That is a cool looking machine. I wish a Palm base offer this alternative.

With bluetooth installing anything on my Clie is as simple as...downloading the app, unstuffing it, and dragging it onto the dragontooth icon. Done!

I think there should be bluetooth, wifi, and IR "distribution" stations that give away shareware and freeware in computer stores (I'd like a soda machine where you could put in a $5 bill, get a registered shareware and a pepsi!).
