How can I watch quicktime movies on my NX70v?

Personally, I use Kinoma Producer to convert Quicktime Movies to the Kinoma format. It works pretty well with my Clie T665...Not sure if it's compatible with the NX Series though...

What do you mean ??

Did you transfer a .mov files to your clie ??
Do you use the mem stick??
Eitherway, i didn't get it to work.
The clie only shows the .mqv files.(and the .mpeg of course)
i didn't find a program yet to convert .mov files to .mqv files

Greetings
Peter

Right now it is still on my desktop. I know that the Clie won't play it in it's current format so I'm looking for a way to convert it into something it will play before putting it on my memory stick.

Deaton, do you have Adaptec Toast? if so you may haev a toast export on Quicktime Pro.

There may be a variety of places you can save it to but here is what I do (which is what my sony digicam does for movies) note file nameing logic

DCIM/101MSDCF/MOV#####.MPG

where # is any number.

the movie format is pretty much a VCD format. Looks great on NX60. But they are big files. can get about 90 minutes of video on 1GB CF card. Canoma is much smaller but I think quality is bad and I have had a lot of probelms converting.

Also when I save from iMovie to Toast format my aspect ratio seems to be off. I need to look into this.

Deaton,

ImageConverter converts your video clips and save them on your memory stick for you automatically (if you use either card reader or MSImport + your Clie on cradle + MS)

i guess you have to save them first on the memory stick (via image converter) and then you can copy/move them onto your desktop. i do not know any other way.
