Hi all!
Can anyone run through these steps and see if it crashes their Clie (as in the soft reset type crash, not a hard reset)?
1: Turn off the Clie (doesn't matter what program you were using).
2: Insert the audio remote control and enable the 'HOLD' switch.
3: Press 'play' on the audio remote control (by default this starts Audio Player in the background and starts it playing). Note that this turns on the Clie and displays the green ON indicator (despite the hold switch being active) but not the screen or buttons on the Clie itself.
4: Press 'stop' on the audio remote control.
5: Leave the Clie to auto power off after whatever delay you set.
6: Once it's powered off, turn it back on and try to take a photo using the hard button. On my Clie, pressing that button once opens Clie Photo but pressing it again to take the photo immediately executes a soft reset. When I look in the photos directory, the photo it should have took is zero-length.
I'm trying to figure out if it's just my device or if this happens in general. Note that if I turn the Clie off manually in step 5, I don't get this problem (I've taken to turning down the volume instead of pressing 'stop', then turning the Clie off manually when I next get a chance but it doesn't treat the batteries very nicely ...).
