At one point in time it was ill-advised to move jot to flash.

In fact you'd recieved a message when trying to move jot to flash stating "this app is not compatible with jackflash"  and "should not be moved" or something like that.

Perhaps they have purposely made Jot and apps like it(ones they are aware JF has problems with) not list to avoid flash problems with particular programs altogether.

It might be in the manual.

I never read it. :)

So it doesn't work with JackFlash?

My Jot is 2.04
Jackflash 3.0b1

I don't think it does, but perhaps volcanopele might be able to atleast see what message comes up when selecting jot to be moved to flash (without actually moving it).

I have tried moving Jot into Flash. After ignoring the warning from Jackflash that it was "not advisable to move to flash". Thereafter, niggling problems came up - particularly messages saying Jot had expired and/or not responding properly.

In the end, I moved Jot back to RAM and it was happy.

Moral of the story, don't move Jot into flash!

There you have it.

But still not sure why it's not being displayed.

But of course I have an answer ;) Did you select all in RAM from the pull down menu?

The last time I used JOT was back in the *shudder* Handheld Pocket PC days. I do use Fitaly Virtual now, but not in flash. It does work, but as yorrick says little niggling problems pop up like Fatal Errors here and there. Once I moved it back to RAM, the little niggling problems disapearred :) Basically, I would advise against it and I don't think it takes up too much RAM. Additionally JF ver 3.0b7 is what I am using now.

BTW, I still love your avavtar :D!

Thanks Larry, I was sure your answer will came up.  So I'll leave Jot in RAM and avoid any problems.  Thank you all for your responses.

I'll give Fitaly Virtual a chance and see if it helps, I miss tappad hack I once had in my NR.  Hope the developer delivers a OS5 app soon.

You can steal my avatar if you like it ;)
