memory stick not functioning

i have nz90 which i'm very satisfied until i down loaded a program that messed up my ms. everytime i sync and putting the files to ms instead of main memory it gives me a reset and hang. i already deleted the bad files in my back up. how do you format using ms reader? can you format it by using xp formatting the drive? one thing works though. when i do image conversion of a mpeg1 and paly it through my nz, it works. i just can't put files on my ms by syncing. pls help.

Yes, just format as FAT from Win XP

i did that already and still give me the same outcome. can you suggest another thing that i should do.

Maybe try re-installing Palm Desktop. Sounds like a problem with the install tool and not the Memory Stick itself.
