Does anybody have the full list of keyboard shortcuts used for the NR?
All I know (so far) is hold CTRL + L to turn the backlight on and off...
Thanks.
I keep a hidden record in my memo pad with all the shortcuts. I probably copied it off ClieSource long before the Great Forum Crash, so it's someone else's work not mine. I almost never use the keyboard so I haven't tried most of it, but here's what it says:
-------------------------------------------
Editing:
Shift-Left/Right = Highlight character
Ctrl-Shift-Left/Right = Highlight word (I know it's hard to press Ctrl-Shift at the same time)
Ctrl-C = Copy
Ctrl-X = Cut
Ctrl-P = Paste
Ctrl-U = Undo
Other Shortcuts:
Ctrl-Enter = Jogdial Click
Ctrl-BS = Back button
Ctrl-M = Drop Menu
Ctrl-Up = Jogwheel Clockwise
Ctrl-Down = Jogwheel Counter-clockwise
Ctrl-L = Turns backlight on/off
Ctrl-H = Home
Ctrl-F = Find
So lets say you are editing a memo and you want to click the 'Details' button and change the category of the curent memo, here are the steps:
1. Hold down Ctrl-BS for two seconds until 'Category' field (upper right of screen) is highlighted
2. Press Ctrl-Down twice
3. Press Ctrl-Enter (Details window opens)
4. Hold down Ctrl-BS for two seconds until 'Category' field is highlighted
5. Press Ctrl-Enter to drop down categories
6. Use Ctrl-Up/Down to select the category you want
7. Pres Ctrl-Enter to select
8. Hold down Ctrl-BS for two seconds
9. Press Ctrl-Down twice to highlight 'Ok'
10. Press Ctrl-Enter
If you want to access something in the menu, press Ctrl-M and scroll using Ctrl-Up/Down and select by pressing Ctrl-Enter. To canel and return to editing, press Ctrl-BS.

Also, I don't know if this qualifes as a "short cut", but will editing, say an address, press Ctrl + Tab, to go to the next line. I found out by accident, but it is very useful. Much easier than take out the stylus and tapping. Just thought I'd share for those who don't know.

Is there any way to use a keyboard shortcut to simulate the grafiti shortcut stroke (the cursive lowercase "L")?
I use that grafiti shortcut all the time to generate the time/date ("L"+dts), and might use the keypad more often if such functions were accessible...

NR70BOY...you...R-O-C-K!
Man, I've been using my NR70V for the past 13 months and enter a lot of addresses. I have always hated having to grab the stylus and tap on the next field when I'm entering addresses and thought it was so lame that tab actually/only carried you over about 5 spaces instead of taking you to the next field.
Now I can just CTRL-TAB! It's too bad that the keyboard doesn't include another CTRL key in the lower right; it's kind of hard to do CTRL and TAB with one hand, but it's better than reaching for the stylus.
I can't help but sound overly enthusiastic about this one. I wish I had known about it earlier.
