View Full Version : watching movies in full display resolution?
its about the image converter. i thought it is possible to convert mpeg1 movies using the image converter in full display resolution. but there is no way to set the options in that manner.
is kinoma the only app which does it? i was thinking i have seen screenshots of the clie movie player in landscape mode. or was it just a dream:rolleyes:

You can switch to landscape by clicking the button with the arrow. However, I converted a bit of a DVD and when played in landscape it actually just plays at the same resolution. When you click on the screen fill button it fills the screen up to the the toolbar/dashboard.
do i get this right? there is nothing i can do during converting conversation with the image converter. but i should be able to "tell" the movie player to stretch the movie size to full screen resolution?
i have not figured out yet how this should work - but i will check it out tonight.
but i still got the feeling i am anyhow wrong...

Well the standard converter doesn't really give you much options. As I recall only for the compression factor. Perhaps when uou buy the QuickTime software you can create movies in the size you want them to be. Ik guess they wanted to keep some incentive for people to buy the full software.
