Hi everyone!
I have a Sony NX70V unit and I'd like to set it up so I can browse the internet on it.
I already have a network set-up in my house (a desktop and a laptop connected to a 3rd "main" computer).
The server has Linksys DSL router model BEFSR41 and Linksys Wireless model WAP11).
Can I purchase a Sony WiFi card to be able to connect my NX70V to the same computer. The main computer is connected to the internet via a cable modem.
Thanks a lot for your replies and suggestions!

You should be able to connect to your home's wireless network. Some people have had hurdles to jump over before getting things working well, however.

Yes, you have the same setup, except I have a cable modem. I've found after much experimentation for my setup(wired/wirelesss combo), that most of the settings needed to be set manualy for maximum reliability. Earlier WAP11's needed a firmware update. When I got mine, it had a later update in the WAP than the Linksys site had.

Larry,
I also have a cable modem.
I had a professional come in and install a wireless network. He spent many hrs on the phone with Linksys people who were actually very helpful. Now, the setup works fine.
Will I have to reset everything to install that card on my NX70V ?
I am really afraid of that....

No, You should not have to reset anything. Just match the cards settings to your Access Points. There is a web interface available for the access point just check the manual. On those screens is all the info you need to get your card going.
Cheers,
Bob
