Sorry, but I would wait for someone else to confirm this. I know a number of people have tried to get this to work, but it didn't happen. It wouldn't make sense anyways. Sony could just sell the Memory Sticks formatted FAT16 as compatible with all devices. But it doesn't work. So they created the MS Select and added support for MS Pro in new devices.

I know... It's just disappointing. At first Sony said that when MS Pro. is released, MS Pro. would be compatible with older devices, then when MS Pro. actually was released, Sony goes and says that it won't be compatible with most older devices. The SJ33 is a newer device and it isn't compatible with MS Pro. Sony even released a firmware update for the memory stick slot on my SRX87 VAIO notebook, so that it would be compatible with MS Pro. Why can't they do that for CLIEs?
