converting mpeg movie to clie

Hi all I used dvdx to encode a 1hr. 15min movie great did it in about 1hr 45min now my problem is how to get it to image converter it says file not supported I am new to this but what am I missing can someone please help I did check other threads but still in a funk?

There are a few threads on videos and conversions, I am not much into it though, but reading through them could be enlightning. The first thread has loads of info, apparently it's not an easy task from what I can see.

1) Download a copy TMPGEnc
2) Encode your movie clip
3) Use ImageConverter to convert your clip into MPEG4/MQV format that Clie likes
then, enjoy
